A native of Sonoma County, Shirley is an avid plein air painter. She enjoys working with oil and pastel and she is challenged by the desire to capture the changing seasons of her subjects. The peaceful scenery of Sonoma County has inspired paintings of lush vineyards, majestic redwoods, rugged coastlines and the rolling hills. Shirley may be found Saturdays and Sundays in her art gallery in Duncans Mills putting finishing touches on her plein air paintings. She is here from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
